Like many a Muppet fan, I was heartbroken to hear the news about the passing of legendary Muppet performer Jerry Nelson. In honor of his contributions to Jim Henson's legacy, I give you six of my favorite Muppets that Jerry performed:
- Floyd Pepper
- Crazy Harry
- The Count(possibly his MOST famous one)
- Herry Monster
- Gobo Fraggle
- Pa Gorg(my personal favorite Jerry character)

R.I.P. Jerry Nelson, your work with the Muppet family will always be remembered in my soul, and at least you'll be sure to get to goof around with Jim and especially Richard again up in the heavens above.

I really like how Harry came out.

Why thank you, Herry Monster was always kind of a neglected Muppet to me and I wanted to capture what made him so great in this. If you look closely I gave his dolly its own toy barbells while he lifts his own.

I'd been referring to Crazy Harry, actually, shoulda specified.

But Herry Monster was drawn well here too

I was so sad when I heard he passed on. I feel terrible for not knowing he was even sick. But he's done suffering and is in a better place. He will still be in our hearts and we will all remember him and all the characters he brought to life.
Funny though, I never knew he was Pa Gorg. He played so many its hard to keep track.
